My returns
on February 16, 2015

I submitted the forms on Feb 10 but when I went to check the status on Feb 16, because I had not received a e-mail, I found out that the forms had NOT been sent. I resent them that day. There was no time during the first attempt when the program indicated that added steps were needed to complete the filing. Had I not checked, it could have better a couple weeks to discovery this error.
What's great about it: Overall was very quick and easy
What's not so great: The efile part seamed a little mixed up.

A step by step walk through of filing taxes for both federal and state made the experience just that much easier. It's great to just be able to get everything done in one go.
What's great about it: Everything was very straight forward and easy to input

Needs some work

While the software is usually good, the 2014 Deluxe Version is not as complete as prior years software packages. It needs to have an automatic "save" option when closing a return. I lost my returns several times because of this. Yes, I know there is a "save" feature, but sometimes you forget to save before closing and then lose your data. I know it's my fault for not saving first before closing a session but for what one pays for the software it should include this option.
Also, sometimes my software would not let me input a second W-2.
What's not so great: When closing, the program needs to automatically save.

I'm retired military but still working full time. My wife gets military compensation from her first husband who was in the military when they divorced, as part of the divorce agreement. It is sometimes very difficult to interpret how to answer the questions when it comes to the retired military portion fro both Federal and State returns.
What's great about it: Overall, another good experience
What's not so great: Questions need work as far as retired military pay goes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I like Turbo tax but we used to be able to file state electronically and now they charge for that too. Will look around next year.
What's great about it: Very easy to file
What's not so great: You have to pay for State e filing
