Another Easy Tax Return

I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and each year the software makes doing taxes easy. Would not think of using anything else.
What's great about it: Easy and every year consistent in what to expect

It is an excellent software but the way it is presented on the State section it leads you to believe that is free. But you still have to pay e-filing.
What's great about it: CONVENIENT
What's not so great: SOMEHOW MISSLEADING ON THE STATE E-FILIING FEE

It is good and easy to file the taxes. I had a hard time understanding the child tax credit
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've grown with Turbo Tax over the years and you have provided good improvements and i can do my taxes in one day now. I know what i need each year and by stepping through all the options, and clicking on "Learn more", I learn the new laws and know when i have more to add or consider. Great product for the past 17 years!
What's great about it: Steps you right through it - but only when you want to see it. I feel good at knowing that I do know some and can skip.
What's not so great: not enough examples

I have used Turbo-Tax for the last 10 years. The reason I keep using this wonderful system is real simple, it works.
What's great about it: Simple to use and asks the right questions.
What's not so great: Absolutely nothing

A good program with step by step guidance

I would highly recommend TurboTax to the layperson who wishes to do their taxes on their own. It easily pulls information from past returns, but allows you to make changes quickly and easily given recent life circumstances (i.e. moves, new employers, home purchase, etc.). This year was just as easy as ever until I got to the e-filing part where I encountered some issues with the browser. I usually use Google Chrome, but for some reason it didn't like it this year, so after a web search for advice and trial and error, I switched to using Internet Explorer and updated the security settings and everything went through fine.
What's great about it: It is very user friendly and simple enough for the lay person
What's not so great: Had trouble with e-filing this year...trouble with browser interface
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Excellent product that simplifies the process for filling taxes.
What's great about it: very straight forward, easy to use, and saves valuable time
What's not so great: fee for state e-file could be a little more reasonable
