State not working wasted printing no error noted!!

Fed did well but problem with state and did not show problem in the software. Did not know till printed the return and unfortunately software still sowed the return ready to print and mail - printed 3 times - what a waste of printer ink.
What's great about it: Dis fed return ok
What's not so great: State has issues and software tells you nothing until you print

I have used Turbo Tax for years! I think on my returns you, turbo tax, shoudl give me FREE audit support due to my continuance of using your product.
If you guarantee your product, why not give the purchaser one free audit support?

2014 Turbo Tax filing

Cost is ok. Completion and filing was fast.
What's great about it: Ease of fulfilling forms.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax 2015

Over all I think this is good. This is the first time I have filed on my own in the past my ex husband file thru Tubo Tax and we have never had an IRS issue
What's great about it: Seemed to be clear once I got the download to work
What's not so great: May not be your issue but the down load was very tricky I had to try like 3 times
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Worked Great

I have used Turbo Tax for many years with no issues and I like the instant tax transfer data from year to year including my State Tax filing.
What's great about it: Detailed Step By Step worked great and filing was easy.
What's not so great: Non at this time

Federal Tax vs. State Tax

I bought the Turbo Tax Deluxe for Federal taxes only because my state does not have a state income tax. When completing the information, this software continually keep asking to file state taxes too. If I do not buy software to file state taxes, then I don't want what I am using to repeatedly ask to file it. Federal only software should be written to know which state has state income and which ones do not.
What's great about it: Easy to use and has tax payer's best interest in mind.
What's not so great: When a state does not have income tax, don't keep asking to file a return.
