Super User friendly as usual, except printing....

Multiple attempts to print, or save a PDF, resulted in an encryted language document. Finally stumbled thru extra steps to open using Adobe reader which was a very frustrating end, to an otherwise straightforward completion, of my federal and state returns and e-filings.
What's great about it: The walk thru questions and e-file are great
What's not so great: Had problems this and last year when printing my returns,
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes in a few hours!

For the everyday guy, this program will help get your taxes done efficiently and completely. All you have to do is follow the lead of the program and you can't go wrong. For the more advanved user, it still gives the filer a lot of flexability in navigating the forms.
What's great about it: Fast, efficient, and easiest way to do taxes. Been using since 1992.
What's not so great: How do I convert older WIN 98 files to PDF in WIN 7 ?

Between the lost forms and the bugs on input screens, I am not sure I will go with TT next year...
What's not so great: Had the screen freeze with no information but was needing input to continue.

Good Customer Call Back Center

I liked the idea of someone calling me back. It wasn't that long of a wait. Problem was corrected after I got out of program and resarted. It would not allow me to select a payment option. I was missing the property value and a two other items.
What's not so great: Prompt call back

I have used TurboTax for 8 years. I like that it updates and auto fills information from year to year. it gets easier and easier each year. Just answer the questions.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. just answer the questions.
What's not so great: Some questions are hard to understand, the first time you try it. But the help button helps.

So much easier than I imagined!

Ever since the easy days of 1040EZ were over, I've had my taxes prepared for me by someone else. Unfortunately, this year that was no longer an option. So, I decided to try TurboTax and I am quite thrilled with my experience. You took a painful process and made it so much easier than I imagined. Your step by step guidance and helpful pop-up info windows eased a great deal of my stress and fears. Thank you TurboTax!
