Stress Free Tax Preparation

Using Turbo Tax helps us to get our taxes done in a timely fashion. We don't worry that we might have missed something. The questions and Learn More Dialog boxes assure that we are making sure we do not forget anything that would qualify for a deduction or credit. My wife has used Turbo tax since 1997. For her 2000 taxes she used a tax preparation service to have her taxes prepared and ended up owing taxes. She didn't think she owed any taxes from her rough calculation, but was not able to dissect the completed tax forms to find the inconsistency as to why she owed taxes. She went back to using Turbo Tax the very next year.
What's great about it: Really like the more info boxes to determint if the deduction or credit applies to your tax situation.
What's not so great: Nothing at this time.

Taxes made easy

Overall turbo tax is a great program fast, easy to use. Filing state was suppose to be free yet I was charged a fee, also to file fed I had to purchase an upgrade.
What's great about it: fast refund. walks you throu step by step
What's not so great: Hidden fee's

Terrific Tool

I LOVE TURBO TAX! have been using it for 7 years. Unfortunately my computer got a virus in Decmeber 2014 and all my docs were lost including my past Turbo Tax info...so I had to start from scratch today...but I got wise and now have a back up system, which is where I stored a copy of my filings today. REMEMBER TO DO THAT everyone...NOT ONLY BACK UP ON YOUR COMPUTER, BUT BACK-UP USING A "BACK-UP" SYSTEM.
What's great about it: Helps you through each module, step by step
What's not so great: Cannot think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for last 10 yrs. Like the format, ease of use w/ step/step instruction and guidance. Instructions easy to follow.
What's great about it: step by step process to file. easy to use and follow.
What's not so great: If error made on initial input of info off W-2 cannot go back, correct it right away.

Excellent product

Been using Turbo Tax for the past few years. Fairly easy to use. Had a minor issue with a Federal return payer ID number not correctly transferring to the State return. Otherwise, no major complaints.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Not all Federal info transferred to State return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used TurboTax since 2005 and makes sense to do your own taxes. Great product!

Great software - very easy to follow.
What's great about it: automatic pull in of old data (especially good with charitable contributions).
What's not so great: don't like having to log into intuit to work on my return.

Long Time User

I've been using TuboTax to prepare my taxes for more than 10 years and each year there have been some nice additions. I've been pleased enough with the product to use it time and time again. This year was the first time I ran into some annoying bugs in the program. Nothing major but not in keeping with the quality of software of previous years.
What's great about it: Carry over from previous years, easy navigation, guided prep
What's not so great: a few bugs
