Turbo Tax is AWESOME!

I loved using Turbo Tax this year. And, although I had problems for the very first time in all the years I've used it, the tech staff was prompt, courteous and extremely helpful.
What's great about it: I love the ease of using Turbo Tax and the tech staff is very cordial and extremely nice.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I Like the changes to the 2013 version

I appreciate the ability to go through at my own pace, doing the easy stuff first and putting the more complicated things last. It's also great that you can get instantaneous support which I only needed for RMDs, other than that I finished in record time. Thanks also for making hard copy review easier to do before filing and for font size flexible.
What's great about it: It's fast and easy.
What's not so great: Should be a little more info re pension RMDs

Another year another dollar

I have a high level of confidence that I will be receiving my maximum return this year yet again using Turbotax.
The linear model is effective if you already know exactly how you should file. However, I wanted to compare between filing itemized vs standard deductions and married jointly versus separately. Turbotax (and all tax software at this point) has some shortcomings in this regard. In the end, making a few extra clicks and jotting down some numbers on excel allowed me to reach the appropriate final conclusion and I am happy with the results.
What's great about it: Great history of audit-less returns.
What's not so great: Difficulty comparing different filing scenarios (married joint vs separate)

Easy and effective - Once again!

I've been using TurboTax since the mid-nineties, and it gets quicker and more INTUITive every year. There is no reason for me to try something else.
What's great about it: Intuitive and practical walk-through, with the option to move around or work directly on forms and worksheets
What's not so great: Confused trying to choose which version to purchase

If you have all of your info ready you can get though your taxes in less than a couple of hours.
What's great about it: Worked faster than last years, questions were more direct and to the point.
