Love Turbo Tax

Would like to see a TT deluxe with 5 free state filings.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: total cost

To keep this short this was my first time filing taxes and it was easy and simple and explained anything I was curious about.
What's great about it: Easy, simple, fast, informative

online vs storebought DVD don't work together?

It would be five stars if I could get access to my turbotax tax file that I filed online for the year 2012 and download and save it on my computer. But because in 2013 and 2014 I bought TurboTax on a DVD from Costco, I cannot access my own tax files kept online anymore and cannot download it for recordkeeping purposes. Big minus.
What's great about it: easy to follow, saves time
What's not so great: cannot get information from turbotax online when using storebought turbotax

Excellent experience

With the exception of a nagging email telling me to refile several days after it was taken care of, filing taxes this year was a pleasant experience for a change. And Turbotax found me some money!
What's great about it: Fast, easy to follow and well designed interface
What's not so great: Nag email after filing telling me to refile
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Still the best out there!

Turbo Tax remains the gold standard of tax preparation for me this year as in the past. It takes the intimidating task of filing your taxes and guides you through with the ease of ordering your lunch! I couldn't imagine using any other program or any of the imitators out there.
What's great about it: simplicity of the refund process and speed of doing the refund
What's not so great: nothing
