Easy to use

At the very end of the process, I always have problems with "error check". It sometimes takes me as long to fix errors as to enter all of the data.
Still, the program is very easy and intuitive to use.

Great but Errors in Filing this Year

The program this year I was going to e-file but there was a problem with the software as it took my money but my e-filing did not go through and they did notice and sent my money back immediately. I tried e-filing with 3 cards and got the same error every time so it was not me it was Turbo Tax so I ended up printing the mailing version and mailed the form to IRS and my State. The program has some problems in finding the correct help and mostly you have to be diligent and look for the right place to get your work changed or corrected. Program does not ask enough or the right questions so what you think it said and what the government means might be completely different. I did send it complaints of the specific issues to Turbo Tax and hope they are corrected for 22015 filing year. It is a great powerful program and I would recommend it to anyone but have not tried the self business Premium package yet but do plan to with my self business for 2015 and I hope the lingo, questions and information will give me the best investment on my return.
What's great about it: Great progrm and I highly recomend it to anyone for self taxes
What's not so great: Does not ask the right quesstions nor good help search

New product is fine. Got through it faster than usual and review went well. Some instructions are unclear.
What's great about it: Quicker this year
What's not so great: Missed the previous year info and unable to drill down on totals that are the sum of multiple entries

Completely Reliable

Turbotax is easy to use, finds all the deductions, thoroughly examines your income and expenses to identify everything needed to accurately file your taxes.

I have used TurboTax for many, many years, and it has been a life-saver. I find that it is easy to follow and a great deal less expensive that paying a tax-preparer. In general, I find that it is worth the effort, even if I have to do it myself.
