Easy as pie!

I've use Turbo Tax for the last 3 years, and every year it's been easier and easier, despite buying a house, using energy credits, etc... It's literally as simple as sitting down for about an hour at my computer, once a year, and jumping through the Turbo Tax steps. Kudos!
What's great about it: Tax prep and filing could not be simpler. There's just no other way!
What's not so great: Cons? What does that mean? :)

Simpler than before

You know, I've been using Turbo Tax for about 15 years now and really haven't had an issue. That's what surprises me, that it actually got a little clearer/simpler in the explanation and question process.

What's great about it: it was actually a bit simpler/clearer than before.
What's not so great: still paying for state filing... bummer

Can almost file with out much thought. Breeze right through especially when you have last year on the pc.
What's great about it: as easy to use as last ten years

This year, the process seemed more streamline & intuitive !
I found the pop up info boxes very helpful for when I needed further explanation of an item or rule.The definition,color & design of each page seemed to keep me focused & I liked the pictures of real tax preparers in different sections , navigating you thru the program. It felt like comforting assurance, that I was doing my taxes correctly ! I will definitely be preparing my taxes withTurbo Tax next year .

Fast even on a slow computer

Turbo-tax has always been our preferred method of filing taxes. And, it helps that we can file multiple returns on one computer with one operating system. The draw backs are all the updates. I wonder if the encryption needs to be updated before the 2015 tax season.
What's great about it: Quick review and ability to skip things I don't need
What's not so great: Seemed slow to load and update

Great software!

I've been using tax software for about 10 years and I love the convenience of TurboTax. I am confident that my return is correct and that I've taken all deductions allowable.
What's great about it: Detailed questions, detailed explanations, easy to use, so much easier & affordable than going to a tax preparer
