TurboTax just keeps getting more informative and easier to use. This year, all the information I needed was quickly available from the page I was on, without taking me elsewhere and leaving me to find my way back. I have great confidence in the accuracy of my return with Turbo Tax's help.

In No Time At All

This is the 5th year I have used the software to file taxes, and because of making the move to using TurboTax, I have saved about $1,000 in Tax Preparation fees. I know everyone can use a cool thousand extra dollars, and TurboTax can help in saving money. The program is so easy to use everyone should give it a shot.

extra fees this year for elec filing was a blindside. I would not have brought your product if that was clearly disclosed.

MA State Retirement

I work for the MA state and turbo tax does not include the state retirement amount in MA form 1 line 11a. I have to force it in the form view.

Parent of college kids

It does a nice job of calculating all limitations on credits and additional taxes. Similar to TaxCut, you save time with inputting details by both importing prior year's return details into current year as a template for income and other items which recur. The local returns do not appear to calculate accurately from what I have observed. Either that or the intricacies of input at the Federal and State level are too much for most users. The local government web-sites produce different results. I recommend going direct to those sites and not filing the Turbotax product generated local returns.
What's great about it: Turbotax walks you through a variety of topics and has effective pop-up help screens containing additional details.
What's not so great: With all the details sometimes the program is still a little ambiguous and you carefully and re-adjust input at times.

Awesome, even though I had questions, they called me and walked me through it.. It took 3 hours and they didn't care, they just did it.

2014 TTax

Turbo Tax works well. We have a problem with the Massachusetts non-resident protocol, however. The program inputs the wrong information (only one of us works in Massachusetts), and the calculation of the credit doesn't correspond to what is requested on the Massachusetts form.
What's great about it: easy data entry
What's not so great: minor adjustments to program needed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
