I know you are trying to make it easier but it seems to get a little more time consuming to get through it every year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Unable to complete payment by credit card

I have tried to file by e file and could not complete transaction I have used turbo tax for years. Now I think that I will go with another on line tax prepare. I could not get any kind of help from turbo tax..

Always great

I have used TurboTax for MANY years for filing my taxes. I admit I have a very simple, straightforward return, but I liked being walked thru possibilities, to be sure nothing is missed. I continue to use TurboTax because it is EXCELLENT for me!
What's great about it: Walks me thru my refund & helps by bringing in last years info
What's not so great: Since 1 free State return was added, none for me

18th year with Turbo Tax and appreciate the ease of data entry.
What's great about it: Ease of use and recalling prior year's data is time-saver
What's not so great: One draw-back, should automatically access last year's refund.

it is much less money than paying another and I control what is and is not entered to the Taxing Authorities. Throughout the year as I receive things that impact my available needed information for taxes, I file them in appropriate folders in a file drawer. Once I secure my disk, I can start the process any time of the day or the night, set it aside, return, search or call for more information if something is needed that I do not think I have, and complete in timely fashion. There is no trip to the tax person's office to deliver and then to pickup. It is so convenient and YES, very thorough and easy for most anyone to understand and follow. Rarely do I need the helps, but I have read some of them. They further explain things in a way that removes all doubt about decisions you make on what to enter or not enter. I have done this for about ten years now and I am very, very pleased.
What's great about it: It only requires one to read, then follow instructions. If you save things during the year, you are ready to file.

Easy Again

PRO: All in all a very easy to use product. Did my Federal and NY State in about 2 hours.
CON: Had to request the Schedule C download.
Also TurboTax doesn't seem to check for "sensibility" of what you enter. I mistakenly entered $78,000 instead of $7,800 for amount of tax withheld. Instead of asking me "Did you really mean that?" it just showed my Federal Refund at over $73,000 which of course flagged the problem to me.
What's great about it: Easy to use and accurate
What's not so great: Had to request Schedule C

Amended return for a previous year

I had to file an amended return for a previous year, and using TurboTax made it extremely easy! I was done in 10 minutes!
