I was not able to file the other state tax return. I was a little confused, but the directions are really well done.

Fast and Easy

Definitely the way to do your taxes if you don't have anything too complicated. Having your expenses on a computer program like Quicken also helps. This also keeps you better in tune with your home from a financial point of view. Definitely worth taking a couple of hours to do this for yourself.

Last year for Turbo Tax

I purchased a tax preparation software program. Instead, I get a program with a continuous barrage of ads promoting services...and I neither want nor are germane to my task. The real irritant are ads for third party vendors.
What's great about it: Nothing

I have used TurboTax since the 1990s, it has gotten better and better as the years have gone by. Truly recommend for everyone!

A bit of a step back

TT Deluxe was not as good this year when restarting and continuing a return. It often forgot where one left off and you had to go through many sections again (it did remember info, so you could skip the section). Otherwise, good.
Appears they put back some IRA guidance that was dropped form TT in 2013.

Have been using TurboTax for 5 years. When purchasing on line, the information can NOT be retrieved the following year. When buying the disk, information is kept. For me that is problamatic, especially when prior years can not be shown.
