As Easy as Having Someone Else Do Your Taxes

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. I like how it asks you step-by-step questions, does the calculations, and fills out all of the appropriate forms for you. I also like it that you can skip the step-by-step approach and just click into the types of income and expenses that apply to you if you would rather do it that way. The descriptions that pop up answered all of my questions when I wasn't sure of what the government wording meant. From start to finish, it actually saves me time vs. taking my taxes to someone else to prepare them. I can enter info into the computer as well as someone else could.
What's great about it: Asks you step-by-step questions just like a tax preparer would
What's not so great: Another username and password to remember

Taxes couldn't be easier

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. It just keeps getting better.
What's great about it: Other than my owe stupid input everything was great
What's not so great: Didn't catch the fact that I put state withholding in the wrong box

Efficient and Reliable

I have used this product for several years. And successfully have received refunds from both the Federal and State. It is also enormously cheaper than having someone fill in the blanks for us. It literally saves us hundreds of dollars in filing fees. I highly recommend Intuit's Turbo Tax for anyone that is capable of filling out any type of application.
What's great about it: easy to understand the terminology, allows me to save the return to work on later, explains the categories well
What's not so great: cannot e-file the first State form free

Works well on the right platform, but waste a lot of time on win 8.1.

Easy to Use

I had the Deluxe originally and had problems with updates loading. With excellent support staff I went to Premier and everything worked perfectly. The Premier edition handled my returned smoothly and efficiently. I couldn't ask for a better product.
What's great about it: No problems, help by phone was excellent.
What's not so great: None with the Premier Version

Great software, use it every year

I like this software. It is SO much easier than trying to figure out what forms I need, then chasing them done because the local post office (or whatever) is out of them.
What's great about it: Leads me through, makes sure I don't forget something
What's not so great: Version I have needs option to pick up where left off
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Still using it!!

I've been using TurboTax sinc it was first offered. I'm pleased with the way it's evolved. It's very easy to use and i like how it copies the information formy previous return, saves alot of time. I will continue to use as long as it exists.
I still think it's a little pricy, but it beats the cost of a CPA.
Please don't ever think about making it strictly a phone app, and always offer a PC version.
