Excellent service

I had some problems downloading the state form, but the Support Staff resolved all my issues. We were on the phone for over an hour, but she stuck with me until the issues were resolved successfully.
What's great about it: easy to use, excellent support staff.
What's not so great: Some problems downloading forms, but the Support staff did an excellent job of resolving all isses.

Turbo Tax is the BEST

This is my 10th year using Turbo Tax and it never fails to do the job quickly and accurately. It pulls necessary information from the previous year which saves time. Better than that it can pull some income information directly from the employer. I love the way it takes me through each section asking questions along the way to insure that I consider all of the things that can lead to a larger refund. A real plus is that it completes State forms as well. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try. Before Turbo Tax doing my income tax was a lengthy challenge.
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: the added fees:i.e. turbo tax fee and refund processing fee.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So Easy!

We Love Turbo Tax

I love turbo tax, this is the 5th year we have used it. It is very easy to follow and not as expensive as it was for me to have someone do them for me. I did not have to be a tax repairer to be able to do my own.
What's great about it: It is very easy to do as well as understand
What's not so great: you have to have a strong online connection

Some Questions...

Have used TurboTax for years but did have some concerns on this years return. For Oregon state medical insurance subtraction during review did not explain what needed to be done to correct problem also on Oregon state review on federal employment had a box to enter a money amount with no instruction on where or how that amount was determined. The note said to put -4 in the box if I was going to have this income in the future. That was somewhat ambiguous. If that was true then a check box would be more appropriate. If not, then maybe a tab that takes you to a worksheet that asks what is needed and where one would go to get the information.
What's great about it: great for continuing information from last years return
What's not so great: couldn't find help for problems on state tax review

Turbo Tax Takes Care of Me

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years. I went with a competitor one year, but I didn't have enough space for all of our charitable contributions. I also worked for this other company as a tax preparer many years ago.
I strongly prefer Turbo Tax for thoroughness and ease of use.
What's great about it: Thoroughness
What's not so great: It should be easier to access a portion of the return without having to enter so many times.
