Fast and Easy

What's great about it: Step by step follow through to simplify submissions
What's not so great: A little intimidating to correct mistakes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Download better than online program

This product is great, I use it every year. This was the first year I wasn't qualified for the free program online, because I was paid through a 1099 MISC, although I made 39K and qualified for the EIC. I still don't understand that.
However, I called up, and after a lengthy hold time (no surprise) came across Taira, who was very helpful and gave me access to a free download. Awesome. That made my day!
However, a small glitch. I had completed my online taxes, and was not asked about the environmental tax credit. I had put a new metal roof on my house this year, which was a $500 credit I did not know about. When I used the downloaded program, it brought me right to that, and I saved $500. So I had a great day yesterday. Thanks so much again for simplifying taxes. Usually an oxymoron. Have a great day!

Disappointed in excessive questions

I have been a customer for many years and this year I found the process to be more complicated, the questions at some points vague, especially Employee Business Expenses. Requesting too much information not possible to have on hand, as the detailed info was not required previous years. Gave up on the deduction. I hope you work out the bugs for next year. I was disappointed.
What's great about it: Steps are great.
What's not so great: Transferring to a new computer is impossible. Something needs to be done about it.

Super Easy Return Process

I had an easy return and Turbo Tax took a minimum amount of time and gave me all the information I needed

It's Great!

I've been a Quicken user for many years, so it's wonderful that Turbo Tax works in conjunction with it to process the needed information almost effortlessly! Add Intuit's ItsDeductible web site into the mix and you have the perfect Do-It-Yourself tax package.
What's great about it: It's straightforward and easy.
