Taxes still are and will always be a royal pain. Gathering all of the information together and then entering it all on the tax forms. Turbo tax takes some of the work out of the process. It copies from previous years and does all of the calculations. Still all in all it is so nice to be done.
What's great about it: no shipping
What's not so great: too many times to enter e-mail address

Why I use Turbo Tax

I do not know how I would do my taxes anymore - for about 5 years a friend passed Turbo Tax on to me free - said his subscription allowed this - but later I started buying the package every year. I would guess that I have used Turbo Tax some 30 years at least 25 I fully paid for. -- Not one issue in all of those years - before - it seems like at least once a year I would be called by the Feds - over an addition issue. What's great about it: easy , accurate , guide system is best in that it helps us forgetful fools .
What's not so great: That one minute to finish seems to get longer each year. lol
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Overall good. Federal portion - clear explanations with information and details.
What's not so great: The state forms/process a bit confusing. could use more explanation on credits and deductions.

Overall I love TurboTax service and have used them for years! Why pay a tax professional when TurboTax asks all the right and same questions. My only real complaint is that I started with online service and then changed to download software, but could not transfer information so I had to start over. This wasted quite a bit of my time.
What's great about it: Great walk through process
What's not so great: Sometimes you need to know what you need to ask

this was my 1st time to use Turbo Tax. My ex girlfriend done them for me last year on year on her laptop using your product, so I decided to do it myself this year. The easy to follow process was extremely helpful and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly and thoroughly it went. I would recommend your product to anyone.
What's great about it: quick and very simple to use
What's not so great: no cons

Had to talk with customer service and they were professional, kind and very helpful.
What's great about it: Don't have to have any tax knowledge. Just answer the questions.

I have been using this program since it first started, way back then, before the time of efiling. I still have the floppy disks. It has always been very easy to understand and to file.
I have given a review before with a different nickname and email address, but that was long ago...obviously you still have it on file...but that's OK.
A review by any other name still spells super great program that I recommend to everyone.
