Step by step instructions allowed me to walk through the forms and then back up to double-check.
Help was easily available, just a click to get additional explanations.
Easy to save your work and exit the program and return later.
The e-file option was extremely quick and easy.

What's great about it: methodical - step by step, ability to back up
What's not so great: Not this year. Had problem with 1099-R calculations before.

Pain in the Butt for efile

The program is still as good as ever. Efiling this year was a pain as I had to complete a major search in order to correct the problem of efiling. Could complete all updates but it would not connect to efile. Turbotax sent me a new program stating the one I purchased was corrupt. BOY WERE THEY WRONG. The new program had the same issue. On top of that my state has ifile but there is not reference on how to complete this with turbotax.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to complete all forms
What's not so great: efile short on getting completed. Had to do a major search to solve the problem

Smooth as Silk

Turbo Tax program was smooth as silk to use. The intrucitons were easy to understand and follow. Any questions about something the explanations were right there. The only problem that I had was the e-file pin. Was the Pin number located in the space something that I could use again or did I have to go online and get a new one. The whole tax preparation went quickly.
What's great about it: The instructions were easy to understand and follow

Starting to reconsider....but still love it??

I have used Turbo Tax for years and encourage my friends to use it. This year it was easy to use as always, until I clicked the Updater button. Error messages, un-updated forms, etc. One part said it couldn't let me fill out the Healthcare section, to give my email address and they'd let me know when it was finished by the government and then I could complete my return. REALLY?? Have the tax forms done BEFORE tax season! I was impatient to get done so I can get my refund, so I did a troubleshooting patch and amazingingly, got everything done. I still love Turbo Tax and want to continue using it, but this year was a bit dicey, I was about ready to scream. Make me love you more next year Turbo Tax!!!!

Easy and Speedy

We have used TurboTax for 10+ years and have always been satisfied with the ease of preparation, even before e-file. It would be nice to have the versatility of the CD/download product's multiple return "What if" scenario capability with the ability of not having to pay for a version you didn't need (i.e. paying for Deluxe when you didn't have enough in deductions to itemize).
TurboTax has always stood behind it's products and customer support has been good when it was needed.

What's great about it: Allowed for "What if" scenarios, comprehensive interview process, seamless import of previous return
What's not so great: Would really like for it to have been cheaper

Could not e-file will have to call support service

For some reason when got to the end of the program, could not e-file, got all the way to the check out and got got error message.

Long Time User

I'm finding the software easier to use and the importing of prior year information and syncing W2 Information saves a lot of time. Auto-Renew has been a pain for me as TurboTax sends the download link to an old account, despite calling and emailing repeatedly for the past two years!
What's great about it: Software is getting easier to use each year
What's not so great: Auto-Renew can be a pain

Completed my 2014 taxes

I was able to use TurboTax to complete my 2014 taxes in 1 day. I liked the data import functionality. I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for several years but this year I spent several hours determining which software to use. My confidence in 2014 tax accuracy is lower than any previous year. I know the form number that I receive but I don't know which Tax forms and schedules must be completed. I depend on TurboTax to complete the necessary forms.
What's great about it: Easy of software installation. Help popups
What's not so great: Assumption that the user know which forms and schedule need to be completed.
