Worst Turbotax Product Ever!!

You guys messed up this year. I need to file an amendment and your software doesn't even remember I've filed already and the IRS has accepted my return.
Nice going. I've used TT for a decade or more.
Not again!

Continued to get filing rejected. Error due to imported W2's. Followed all instructions to fix 6 times. No luck. Finally decided to snail mail. Didn't need Turbo Tax for that.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Could not efile

I have used TurboTax for a very long time (way back) and have always been very pleased with the program. However I am concerned about the latest changes by Turbotax in regards to what may or may not be available in the software from year to year. While I did not purchase the software affected by this change, I happen to be extremely happy with the look and feel of the software as it is now (mostly by the ability to still access and use the forms directly). Please do not change it drastically. I would really hate to have to learn another tool.

Maybe it was just me but TT seemed too different from past years and confusing. Why does it print out 52 pages of return when 10 will do, not selectable !!!
What's great about it: fairly easy to follow (76 yr old)
What's not so great: after previous years TT seemed too different, confusing, missing forms etc.

Overall good experience. Kept tax time down to a minimum.
What's great about it: Efficient, fast
What's not so great: No free efile for stat, no transfer for General Credit Union
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

All good - no issues

I have read a great deal about some users being upset with some functionality being moved to a more expensive version of TurboTax... that did not affect me at all... I have been using turbotax for almost 15 years with no issues.
I like the step by step guidance although the pictures of the CPA's are getting a little stale.
Only change I would recommend is when looking at the overview screens, please add functionality to the summart boxes allowing you to edit from there instead of only being able to edit after clicking the edit box.
What's great about it: step by step guidance
What's not so great: Clicking on Hyperlink only gave me an overview - would have preferred it took me to an edit screen

Why I love Turbo Tax!

It couldn't be easier to do your own taxes! Turbo Tax takes the scariness out of doing your taxes. It walks you through step by step. Gives you detailed information on each section and explains each question it asks. If you are confused on a particular question there is and icon to click on that will give you more information and if that is not enough you can ask a question on the community boards. Anyone can do this!
What's great about it: Super easy to navigate through the forms.
What's not so great: none

I have used Turbo Tax for years and years. I highly recommend it. I've never had any kind of problem from the IRS.
What's great about it: Clear on every interview step
What's not so great: Doesn't like various on non-cash contribution dates
