I HAVE GONE FROM DELAYING FILING UNTIL OCTOBER TO BEING ABLE TO COMPLETE MY FILING AND RECEIVING MY REFUND IN FEBRUARY. HARD TO BELIEVE IT CAN BE THIS USER FRIENDLY. I TELL ALL MY FRIENDS WHAT EASE IT IS!!
What's great about it: INTERVIEW AND CARRY OVER FEATURES REDUCE TAX PREPARATION TIME SIGNIFICANTLY
What's not so great: PRINTING AND SAVING RECORDS BECOME CONFUSING WHEN MIXED WITH FILING

I have utilized turbo tax ever since it became available. It makes filing for taxes so much easier. Our income areas are not complicated at all but the education credits are what we desire. My wife went back to school 10 years ago to obtain her BS in nursing and even though we have the loans to pay back, the credit associated with the loans help us tremendously. With turbo tax, the numbers simply need to be put down and the rest in done in entirety.
What's great about it: helps especially with our education credits

After 20+ years of using Turbo Tax the company (Intuit) made good on their promise to provide me with the software I have trusted to do my taxes. After the upgrade to Deluxe version I had what I needed and come to expect from this company.

Consistent Rejections

This is about the 8th year we have utilized the Turbo Tax when filing our Federal Taxes. This was the very first time we had such difficulty in E File in which data did not transfer from previous year and for the past four days we have resubmitted. The error codes that continue to come back is EIN's numbers not correct! The EIN numbers have been confirmed by the employers and IRS only to continue to have same error codes come back which was explained it is an error with the software. There is no way to get access a live customer service rep through turbo tax to correct this problem. I am very displeased with lack of information in contacting the company.
What's great about it: The software is easy to navigate, helpful resources and explained answers.
What's not so great: Not able to contact someone via telephone to explain the information was correctly put in according to EIN numbers on W2
