Turbo Tax is easy and very people friendly, when imputing all of the claims, and documents that are needed... Easy to follow, and very helpful with any questions that I had come to my mind.
What's great about it: Details everything that I needed to claim
What's not so great: No Cons

Another Long Process

I have used Turbo-tax for the past 20 plus years, and find this will be the last one. I have lost faith in the product when I had to find all of the options in the deductions area as well as the credit area manually . Had I not gone through in detail myself I would have lost thousands in my return. This along with the legal problems they have had causes me to have concerns. I have also been a long time user of Quicken, and updated again this year to a problem of the system dropping a number of my records. Had I not done backups to thumb drives it would have cost me hours. Their support staff at Intuit was no help at all.
What's great about it: Product was accurate
What's not so great: It does not guide you through all of the potential credits

The pop-up to open an Intuit account was unnecessary and annoying. I supplied my email name as the user name and it was rejected with no explanation. I finally discovered it was totally unnecessary in completing the filing.

ALMOST TOO EASY

Very very easy and goes through each section in detail to maximize your refund. Much, much easier than trying to read the entire 1040 Instruction Manual.
What's great about it: SIMPLE QUESTIONS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax has really done their homework. This years software was easier than ever before. If one can read...one can file their own return and save money.
