Stress Free Tax Filing...

Very easy to use, TurboTax asks you some easy to answer questions, takes care of putting your information on the proper forms and does all the math. Then it offers to save your returns on your computer, print out a copy for you and does the E-Filing. With TurboTax, we find ourselves getting our taxes out of the way a lot sooner than we used to. This avoids the last minute rush and get our refunds back that much quicker.
What's great about it: Thorough, Fast, Accurate and User Friendly
What's not so great: Dislike paying to E-File State Tax Return

My second year using Turbo Tax. Should have started using it years ago. The CPA came up short every year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step. Tells you exactly what to do.
What's not so great: None!

Some minor problems....

This year is the only time Turbo Tax did not transfer my information from the previous year. I was disappointed. I had to manually re-enter all the information. Also, there was no screen that popped up like previous years to enter information if you want a direct deposit into your bank account. I finally had to manually maneuver the software in order to enter the desired information on the Federal. I never could enter the desired info on the State. I just had to print out the form and write it in on the paper. Therefore, I could not efile my State Tax. I had to mail it in. All the other years I had no problems entering this information. I know this is not much to complain about, but it did cause me extra time and a struggle to get the right information on both the Federal and State. But, over all for Turbo Tax, it is a great product and has always lead me thru the confusing tax laws. You guys do a great job. I always purchase Turbo Tax and will continue to do so in the future.

Could not find information on whether or not to send in the SSA-1099 forms with my tax returns.

I liked the new version better than older versions. Very simple to use and navigate through. It took less time than usual which is always a plus and I know I am getting the best possible refund!
What's great about it: Easier to navigate than previous versions. Always thorough and helpful information along the way.

I love turbo tax. It's easy to use. Was not happy that they changed what was included in the deluxe version. If the change is not reversed may consider a different software next year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Transfers info from last year
What's not so great: Doesn't include investment software. Need to upgrade. Price.
