Refund Made Simple!!!

We made a couple of boneheaded mistakes and turbo tax caught them. Had we used a workbook we probably would have filed with some huge mistakes.
What's great about it: Easy, comprehensive
What's not so great: Need a version that only does federal, eliminate state

My trouble with turbo tax

I have used Turbo Tax for years, I've used it from the time it came out. This year was the worst I have ever had to deal with. First it kept back tracking and then it wouldn't acknowledge I had transmitted my returns. In that process we lost our free state tax return. This has never happened to us before. I'm not sure what happened. Did I only file once or twice. If I only filed once, where did our free state return go? I may have to go with H&R block next year.
What's not so great: Screwed up my filing.

Super easy for seniors

Have been using for several years. This product is so easy to use and gets me more deductions than I was getting without Turbo Tax. Love using It's Deductible for charitable items.
What's great about it: Walked me through each section to get the MOST deductions!
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used this for many years, Even with the hackers that are out there I have never found a software that breaks down all the tax HASSLES. Nice, I can do it at home!
What's great about it: Easy way to get through the tax HASSLES!
What's not so great: The fees, how can you offer a free submission for some but not all?
