better each year

great product, it goes back to all the info from past years and ask if there are changes, then it walks you through every deduction you could ever have. Has help topics if you are not sure and even checks the return for unreasonable amounts. 5th year using and have each year received larger refunds that if a professional did the taxes.
What's great about it: ease of use, ask all the right questions
What's not so great: walking back and forth to desk
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It's What You Need, When you Need It - Every Year

Data transfer from previous year's tax returns is an wonderful way to initiate a return. Our personal info and interest income source info transferred smoothly. However, although duplicated this year, IRA and pension sources are not transferred; thus slowing down the process. Even so, barring typos, completing the program is painless. The Med Insurance status left some room for conjecture since Medicare didn't get much of a mention regarding sign-ups. After reading the information provided, confirming we were covered was easy. IP-PIN stopped us in our tracks. I have experience with only one PIN, I just typed in my E-File PIN, and got rejected. Oh, Oh! Read the note closed the program and called the IRS. After 4 tries and 3 hours, the nice man checked my records ad informed me I didn't have an IP-PIN, I had an E-File PIN. Didn't need an IP-PIN. Oh. We went back into the Program, changed the IP-PIN question to NO, and completed the return without a hitch. Possibly a message, " If your PINs DO NOT CONTAIN 6 DIGITS, you have not received an IP-PIN for Identity Protection." Just a thought. You might also consider a loyalty discount or Super Senior discount in pricing.
What's great about it: Easy to Understand; Quickly Completed
What's not so great: Got tripped up with IP-PIN

2014 Tax Filing

Overall, a very simple, thorough process.
What's great about it: Ease of simply following the questions and filling in the blanks. Previious years information included.
What's not so great: Took quite a while for entire process to load on my computer.

For Mac CPU, (version 10.6) Turbo Tax 2014 cannot transfer my info to my upgraded Mac (version 10.10). Turbo Tax 2014 only works on Mac Version 10.7 and higher. Had to re-enter all personal info.
What's great about it: Easy to work with
What's not so great: No place to change email address

Consistently simple

Consistently simple to use. I have used for several years and I like how it "grabs" the prior year info reducing chance of me making a mistake.
Easy to e-file and it kept my prior year info so it wasn't necessary to refill out information all over again.
Recommend to everyone every chance I get.
