Am not a CPA but have used TT for years and it makes me feel like a tax expert. Easy to use with the "Guide Me" feature so you don't make a mistake or miss something. Have more confidence in the accuracy of the software versus me trying to read the IRS publication that is filled with bureaucratic and legalize language that is usually confusing. Makes doing taxes an easy process and with the privacy of your financial situation in your own realm.
What's great about it: Step by step process to ensure you don't make a mistake; references up to date; almost idiot proof; value purchase

This is like my 10th time filing with Turbo Tax. I have confidence in it, it's easy and self explanatory.

have looked at all the tax filing programs - not comfortable at all with the ones that want you to send your personal information into cyber space - I like the fact that Turbo Tax holds the info on your personal computer and only transmits to the IRS when you actually file ...; more secure??? BUT Turbo Tax needs to accommodate users MUCH better when our computers crash and we can only re-enter our info by hand - EVEN THOUGH we have saved our info/files to a flash drive -- need to be able to recoup this info on another computer
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: can't retain information when your computer crashes - no way to get back

Great product

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and each year it seems to be easier to use and understand. I have not had a bad experience with the product.

I have used this tax prep software for many years. I trust it and have had little issue with it till this year. I always purchase the deluxe version even though I could have used the home owners version many years. This year I was dismayed to find that the software had been cheapened both in content and appearance. Then the issue with identity theft cause concern with the trust I had in this product. Please get your act together. I'd like to continue using Turbotax but loyalty only goes so far.
What's great about it: easy to follow and thorough
What's not so great: down graded software and state identity issues

LOVE Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax has been my go-to tax preparation for over 5 years; no complaints at all. I highly recommend it!
