AGI/PIN for filing

I should be able to use either AGI or a pin to file electronically.
When I enter the AGI, I get a message from Turbo Tax that the only way to E-file is with a pin.
When I try to get a pin from IRS via online form, I get a message stating it can't provide one. When I try to get one over the phone I'm told I don't need one and to enter 0 for AGI.
Neither has worked. Keep getting rejected notices.

Been a customer for years!

I am a retired (42 years) CPA and have always used Turbo Tax. Now even my adult kids feel comfortable doing their own returns.....and Mom checks them of course.
What's great about it: Always makes filing easy.

First time I couldn't efile my state return, message was TT did not support the CS (college savings) schedule for WI.
If you don't fix this I will get another program, have been using TT for many years.
Very frustrating.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: couldn't efile my State return, Turbo Tax didn't support a schedule

What's great about it: Saves time and expense of hiring a professional

Non-resident State

I updated turbotax before doing my 2014 yet I still had to locate information that was not where stated. Ex. It would say "line 38 or your Hawaii return" but line 38 did not exist. It was line 39. It happened again when I had to indicate the ratio, which was on a line different from what Turbotax stated. Very annoying.
The other problem is: I don't understand why if I used Turbotax for last year's return I still have to go calculate the portion of a state refund that is now taxable. In fact, none of the information seems to be pulled from the prior return. Why am I being asked for what I got in child & dependent care credits or what my state itemized deductions were for last year. Shouldn't all that info be transferred over? Again annoying and time consuming.
What's great about it: Turbotax is easy to use
What's not so great: Some information I have to hunt for to calculate the taxability of a prior refund.
