Turbo Tax Delux

Having been using this product for years. For the most part, I enjoy using the product. Get stuck every now and again. But usually figure my issue out on my own.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Getting rid of the Schedule K form that I no longer need...still have not figured it out...

Great Tax Program

I have been using Turbo Tax to do my own taxes as well as family members for approximately 10 years. I plan on continuing to use it.
What's great about it: I liked how thorough Turbo Tax is. It doesn't leave anything to question.
What's not so great: I can't really think of any Cons.

I will continue to use Turbo Tax Year-after-Year

First time I use Turbo Tax and I am giving it 5 Stars and a High-5.
I should have been using Turbo Tax since way back; but I was too scared to make errors on my return. Year-after-Year, we've had to pay back taxes. Turbo Tax helped me find and take advantage of every deduction possible. YES, you guessed it right, we are finally getting a return and not give IRS more of our hard earned money.
Thank you Turbo Tax and Turbo's Personnel
What's great about it: It is fast, easy, and Turbo Tax lets you know of every possible deduction(s)..
What's not so great: Didn't identify any "Cons".
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simplify simplify simplify

The healthcare part came as a surprise. I ended up checking a few things that I had no clue about and help did not help. I think you need to actually sit down with users and go step by step, and simplify things even further. Why does State have a different question process. It is not as thorough as the Federal.
What's great about it: It worked.
What's not so great: State should function like federal. Why the different UX?

Filing an extension

I filed an extension in April, and printed the form throught TurboTax. I entered the amount I was paying with my extension. When I went to finish the retuirn, TurboTax did not pick uip the amount that I paid in April. I had to find the form and enter the amo0unt manually. This has never happened in prior years.
What's great about it: easy to do
What's not so great: Turbo did no pick up the amount on my final return

Good Stuff

TurboTax is easy to use for an average person with no financial background. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.
It takes the mystery out of tax returns, and saves me money that I used to pay my CPA for tax preparation.
