What's not so great: somethings were too long, it can be shortend

Love my Turbo Tax

I use turbo tax every year for the last 15 years. Each year it just gets better. I would recommend this to anyone who want to save a lot of money and do it yourself. Well Done Turbo Tax

Fast and Easy!

I was always afraid to do my own taxes. Since 2013 Turbotax has made it easy to do and provides ease of mind with knowing it's done right!
What's great about it: Easy to understand and help links were useful.

Considerably Improved!

Overall my wife and I are very pleased, it was self-explanatory and easy to understand the options
What's great about it: Format much easier to follow and questions/categories were intuitive
What's not so great: One small issue with the State form where it presented small form window but no yes/no question the first time through

Addressing needs of taxpayer

On the whole I find Turbo Tax very convenient and easy to use. I am frustrated and have been over the ten years or more that I have used Turbo Tax to get the program to respond to entering clergy housing allowance and now retired entering the taxable pension after deducting allowable housing expenses. Now clergy and retired military who are entitled to this deduction represent a fair number of tax payers and the deduction is covered under IRC 107 so why can't your program incorporate this situation? i gave up trying to use the online download of program and traveled miles round trip to get a CD program.
When I got home the program would not load on my Apple 10.68 opperating system and had to go out and purchase a new computer. Over the years this has happened several time which is frustrating. Now it was time to replace my computer - there were other problems but it was still functioning and had I got answers on how to enter this information on the online program I would not have purchased a new computer at this time.
What's great about it: Used turbo tax for 10 plus years
What's not so great: Difficult to enter housing allowance deduction

Tax Experience

Can you send me my Id and password so I will have it next year? What I wrote down last year didn't work. Took up a lot of time trying to get past it.
What's great about it: Was easier this year, but still took 3 1/2 hours to complete
What's not so great: I had trouble with my e-mail password. Tried to reset it put was still not sure if it will work next year.

purchased more expensive version because of changes, thankful for reinstalling forms on deluxe version, extra work to take premiere back and purchase deluxe version. Software is already expensive enough without making homeowners spend as much as using a tax preparation person AND do all the work.
What's great about it: all the questions that make sure all deductions and income is correct
What's not so great: miscommunication on what version to buy
Pros: I bought or sold investments
