Always Consistent

I have used Intuit TurboTax since I began using a computer to do my taxes many years ago. As my needs changed, I have been able to find the product that fit my needs. In these later years I have gone back to the Deluxe version as I no longer have a home based business. I like the fact that I can import my information from my Quicken program and previous years' taxes which saves time. I would however like to see the part of the program that fixes errors to be tweaked as the program required me to make several attempts to enter the information. Although that part was a hassle, once everything was done the rest was a breeze as usual.
What's great about it: simple step by step completion
What's not so great: repairing errors can be irritating/confusing

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2014

Easy process to wade through the complicated Federal Income Tax process. Step by Step process takes you through with a minimum of pain and maximum confidence that the return is correct and you are getting back the max amount.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow the step by step process. No hang ups in the process.
What's not so great: none.

Ease of Mind

I've been using TurboTax for about 10 years or more. I love it!
What's great about it: I like the easy to follow instructions. The error checking system helped make sure my return was accurate.
What's not so great: None that I can think of.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy to get Money Back

I love using this program ever year. I have been doing my own taxes since 2001 and I have gotten money back from the government 11 out of 13 years. The last two years I have gotten the most money back.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Ask a lot of questions

In some of the sections a little more direction would be helpful. I had to call to get clarification on several issues. Also, it would be good if there was a way to restart completely a section so you get asked all the questions again

I like Turbo Tax and have used it for man y years, but am extremely unhappy that you are forcing me to either go to the deluxe version or consider other alternatives. The basic is all I need other than the schedule A. This should not require me to have to go to the deluxe. If you continue the basic without the schedule A, I may consider no longer using Turbo Tax.

Poor exoerience

We've used Turbo Tax since 2010 and have had no problems. This year we have been unable to file the finished form. i get a message that the "webpage cannot be displayed....." but am able to immediately log on to Facebook, so I know the problem is with Torbo Tax, not my internet connection. I don't know if I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.
What's great about it: ease of filling in form
What's not so great: unable to complete e-file process.
