2014 TurboTax

We've been using TurboTax now for 8 years. Each year the updates help me understand my tax situation and easily track the documents required to complete the taxes.
I remember my father struggling with completing tax forms when I was a child. TurboTax makes this as simple as answering a few questions and completing a simple form.
What's great about it: Love the user interface and question format.
What's not so great: At times I'd like see the forms just so I understand where the numbers are placed.

Straight and Honest

I read a lot of negative reviews on turbo tax based what people were expecting from which version they brought. Its pretty clear and simple by reading the back of the turbotax. Its explains what is cover in each version of turbotax. I don't understand all the anger and negative comments against turbotax. Please read the back of turbotax and choose carefully which tax refund and deduction you are looking for your home and business. I've been using turbotax for the past 4 years and i love it!!!!! Its so simple!!!!!
What's great about it: Covers everything so you don't worry about your tax refund or audits
What's not so great: I found none.

trusted product that I use every year. never any problems. Had a product payment issue for the first time and though the wait time on the telephone was VERY long the representative was extremely accommodating and helped me to a solution very quickly.
What's great about it: easy / quick
What's not so great: long wait time for phone support

upgrade woes

did not like the changes that made me shift versions of Turbo Tax. I bought the version I used last year and the year before which ended up being the wrong version and I had to upgrade in the middle of my return which ended up costing me more than if I had bought the "right" version to begin with.
What's great about it: ease of use and import of last year's data
What's not so great: forced to upgrade in middle of return

Got twice what I was expecting

I have used TurboTax now for over 12 years. New tax situation come up each year... This year it was college tuition expenses. Turbo Tax made it easy to get an extra $1000 I might have missed on my own.

There is no easier, quicker, cheaper or fail-proof way to file your taxes than using Turbo Tax!
