Great Refund

Love the step by step ease of the program. I really feel like everything that could be deducted was done.
What's great about it: Program was very easy to use.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The program didn't ask me for the cost of the software, in order to apply it to deductions
What's great about it: much easier
What's not so great: Turbo tax software cost not deducted

What's not so great: Some years I have stock transactions and there was some confusion this year with Deluxe

Good, Bad, and Ugly

Turbo Tax would not let me file my Ohio state tax form. I finally got thru to a sales representative after many attempts and this person was very good to work with even though it was her first day working at this job.
What's great about it: Got my Federal refund two weeks after I filed it.
What's not so great: I had nothing but trouble with State filing from Turbo Tax!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

one problem

Qualified dividends and capital gains tax worksheet referenced line 43 of the 1040 but I filed using 1040a so the references made no sense. Social security benefits worksheet referenced 1040 lines which made no sense in relation to the 1040a that i was filing.
What's great about it: follow steps and all is ok
What's not so great: Used 1040a...worksheets referenced 1040

Why would anyone pay for someone else to do their taxes. If you finished High School Turbo Tax can get you through the tax laws.
What's great about it: Leads you well, great explainations
What's not so great: The updates every time you open it.
