Individual experience using it

The details about why liked it is because it is straight forward and easy to understand for me as I have used it before but for some of my friends that I referred/recommended it to, It needs better instruction on how to go back and enter skipped data or correct errors. Because I found that it is a bit difficult for them to understand that.

Bad year for Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo for many years and was satisfied. What happen to your good product? If it was to save a buck it was a bad move. Your loss and mine.
What's great about it: Basics the same
What's not so great: Would not update software. Said I Efiled but I did not had to refile. POOR Will look at other software next year!!!

Easy does it.

Before using Turbo Tax, I did my own taxes. The problem with that? I sweated between the time I mailed it and the time I got my check. Then I sweated that I was going to get an audit notice. Now, I go step-by-step through the process, feel comfortable about what I'm entering since every entry has a help menu in case you're not sure. Now, all that I worry about is "How much money did I lose by doing it myself?". My suggestion to anyone unsure about using Turbo Tax. DO IT! It's unsweatable. (and SO easy)
What's great about it: Guides you step by step in plain english, not legal-eze.
What's not so great: That I didn't try it sooner.

National Holiday on July 6th?

Last time using Turbo Tax. I would rather pay an accountant to make my life difficult.
What's great about it: The amount of time I spend searching the site for pertinent information.
What's not so great: No phone number available for customer service, use customers instead to assist other.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I will miss loss of deluxe features next year.
I do like being familiar with program year to year.
What's great about it: Year to year ease
What's not so great: tough to get to specific line item, loss of key features in deluxe

Like that it builds on past years, but allows me to use all forms if necessary or situation changes.
It's easy to work on in little time parcels then pick up where you left it.
Don't like the extra cost to E-file state when state prefers it.

What's not so great: Some explanations are too technical Why is state E-file extra when Mich prefers it?

Worst Experience ever

I've used Turbo tax more than 15 years. This will be the last.
The problems started with importing from the last year. Every form imported had to be filled out and I couldn't get rid of them even though multiple forms didn't apply this year.

Cheesy

Too many commercials pushing to buy extra and over doing it with how well you have checked my returns. I don't like the fact that you downgraded the product and moved the investment section to a higher cost version.
What's great about it: I have always liked the product
What's not so great: Hate the commercials and very cheesy that you downgraded the product and eliminated the investment section.
