Turbotax is a real time saver

This year, TT left out some key features from prior years. Eg, they left out key schedules from the interview process, such as schedule C, A, D, etc. Although there are other ways to get to these schedules, it is inconvenient.
What's great about it: Wonderful Software; Great Options for filing and printing

Busing Turbo Tax for several years..and believe it is best program for the individual , non tax person, to use to accomplish individual, non business taxes. But couldn't complete the US INCOME TAX WITHOUT IT!!
What's great about it: Thorough....to the point, complete
What's not so great: Turbo Tax changes format and order of doing things every year. Don't mean the U.S. IRS changes but just the order of doi

Satisfied with deluxe version

Our return is rather simple since we don't have any extra income other than salary. We had only one dependent and some college tuition. Also we live in a state without income tax and turbo tax made it simple to figure out how to use sales tax as part of our deductions. Given all the negative comments this year with the changes Intuit made, I tried dong it my self by getting the IRS instruction sheets and forms. I found these difficult to understand and to find relevant information; Turbo tax made it much simpler by asking questions that made sense. We've used Turbo Tax for several years and I've found it made the federal income tax chore less arduous. As for the changes this year, it didn't affect us. I would rather Intuit keep the version we used this year since it is all we need and less expensive. Perhaps when Intuit made the change, the company should have used a different name for the simpler version we used and kept the same name for the one that includes income other than salary. Perhaps, then, the people who need that version, would not have been so upset (except for maybe the price).
What's great about it: Takes you step by step
What's not so great: Can't think of any

No matter how many times I file taxes I always get nervous, thanks for walking me through this process each year.
What's great about it: the questions they ask for the most part really make this easy. .
What's not so great: I receive income from two states I got billed twice for the second state.

could not e-file state

Completed my 2014 taxes pretty easily, but when it came to e-filing my state return, the system would hang and crash when it forced a save before taking my payment info. Tried multiple times. Finally had to install turbo tax on aanother computer and copy over the file and then it finally worked
What's great about it: very easy to use and complete
What's not so great: would NOT let me e-file state, keeps hanging up when I try to make a payment for state filing

Turbo Tax is Awsome

Using Turbo Tax is the easiest way to do your taxes. They explain everything in detail and tell you how and where to put the information into the computer.
It is also nice that they can put the info from last year into this years taxes. Saves a lot of time.
I also love the fact that for free we can e-file the Federal taxes. The only thing I disagree with is that we can't file the State ones for free also. They are all done and should be
included.

Anyway, Turbo is the way to go.
What's great about it: I like the way you walk me thru it and explain everything.
What's not so great: I don't understand why we can't e-file the State taxes for free. They should be included too.

When I attempted to gather interest information from Fidelity, it wouldn't even recognize the institution.
