What's great about it: Easily understood prompts;with necessary explanations

not perfect, but excellent

Overall excellent, but I'll mention a couple of glitches that come to mind. I see this sort of thing most years.
(1) I was nearly done with my return, and I got a software update. The program then appeared to want me to start over. By digging in by hand, I could get back to where I had left off. Not that hard, but might be a problem for some users.
(2) I entered a certain deduction, and then changed my mind. I went back and deleted that entry, and it appeared to delete correctly, but in the summary screen it was still there. Fixable by hand.
What's great about it: very easy and intuitive, very complete, as nearly as I can tell

Mistakes are almost impossible

My wife is becoming more involved in all the financial aspects of our family. Understanding the components of the tax return is a "big" component. Because the software is so detailed, she is able to not only grasp the concepts, but challenge me when she thinks I have made a mistake. Kudos to you!

easy peasy

The very best thing I absolutely love about turbo tax is that it makes me feel like I'm absolutely brilliant! I have to be one of the unsavviest (Is that even a word?) people ever, when it comes to computers...being 61 years old and self taught... And I finished up in just a few hours. Wish I could do the short form, but at my age I was lucky enough to accrue a few investments. So another year is done and I am living in a happy place in my head. Thanks to the Turbo people. Been using them since the 1990`s, and never had an issue....I wonder why Tim Geithner had so much trouble? heh heh
What's great about it: The ease of understanding a complicated, fractured tax system
What's not so great: ummmmm...can`t really think of any right now-

Super Easy to Use!

I love how easy Turbo Tax is to use. I do not have a complicated return, so I don't want to have to spend time and money at an accountant. At the same time, I do want to be sure that my return is accurate. Turbo Tax puts me at ease in knowing that I will maximize my return while also providing a simple and easy experience.

Check tax withholdings from your employer

I have used Turbo Tax for a while now. The walk me through process allows me to look at any possible deductions. If there are any questions, the program finds me the answers!!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes the entire process SIMPLE to do on my own. Saves me money not having to pay someone else to enter it.
What's not so great: No cons, Turbotax always keeps up on things!
