When you choose the standard deductions, it should give you the option to remove uneeded information.
What's not so great: It would not let me erase a form 8823 that I decided that I did not need. This slowed the process down.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is an excellent way to file your federal and state taxes. It is quick and easy once you have all your documents and information together.

Turbo Tax gets better with every year.

Overall Turbo Tax gets easier to use every year. It also has gotten me more money back than having my taxes done by some local tax prep agency. Have already recommended it many times to people over the yrs.
What's great about it: Very user friendly.
What's not so great: Wish it was a bit cheaper or provided a free state e-file as well.

Big Return, Small Effort!

We are retired and on a fixed income. We've had pro bono professionals assist us for years. Our children are professional folks and can afford to have someone else do their taxes. Albeit they PREFER to use TurboTax. They convinced us to do the same. This is our second year with TurboTax. It only took a short while to follow your directions. I almost felt as if I had a personal assistant looking over my shoulder. GREAT PRODUCT!
What's great about it: Multiple filings for others in household. Easy step by step guidance.

Bummed

I was bummed because I didn't have a dependent to deduct this time and my refund was much lower this year. your turbo tax rocked like every year, I'm so happy you put this program together for people like me that don't know the laws.

Great program. Have used it for years and the import feature saves me a lot of time.
What's great about it: Takes a lot of the guess work out of doing taxes
