Good tax Package

I have been using Turbotax for a number of years and have always been happy with the program. It is easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: State return is not free for e-file

Based on how much you charge for the package you should not charge anything to file the state return
I had a form 5498 for a rollover. when I did my taxes by hnd, you had to list it and then back it out. No place for a 5498. Hopefully this won'tcause a problem

What's great about it: good software
What's not so great: too much for state return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Couldn't e-file!!!!!!!!

When I got to the efile screen I got a message that said this program cannot display webpage (You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address. ). I was connected to the internet. I was getting all the updates no problem. Tried everything. Restarted several times. Went back in the return and did the reviews, etc. again. But the error screen, which displayed as a box over the efile screen, would not go away. Tried going to your website to chat with some but all I found there were answers from other users none of which I was able to accomplish. I have used TurboTax for years and have never had this problem. Ended up having to do PAPER returns. NOT HAPPY.
What's great about it: Everything was excellent as usual until I got to efile.
What's not so great: Could not efile!!!!!!!!!

Still Does the Job

Have used TurboTax for over 25 years and have always had great success with software. While I understand the deployment of software to many platforms developers should pay as much attention to the readability of the design -- fonts should be better selected for ease of reading, data entry boxes should have better defined lines not ust when rolled over, radio buttons should be filled with a better suitable color so as to clearly seen as checked, progress buttons should have more contrast with text and background color. Bottom line, presentation needs work.
Good news, package (only have used a PC version) has always been technically on the money (pun intended). Never have had a comeback in over 25 years of ysing software. 5 stars when presentation improved.
What's great about it: complete, follows forms, DIY or follow tour guide.
What's not so great: tiny skinny fonts, grid lines thin box grids, soft color backgrounds

Have been a turbo tax user since the beginning. It keeps getting better and better.
I would like to see how to enter gifts to my children/family members.

I highly recommend the use of this product.
