Forcing users to pay more by moving features into a higher version of Turbo tax is a slap in the face of loyal users.

Refund processing fee???!!!

I started filing the free, only to find that because I had one, JUST ONE, gambling winning, I had to upgrade to deluxe! So I upgraded and it included State, which was nice ... but then I got to the refund and had to pay almost $60 bucks to process the refund! So much for free!!! I am going to have to consider options for next year!
What's great about it: Guidance was great
What's not so great: I thought I was filing for free ... only to find that I had to pay almost $60 for a refund processing fee!

Easy to use

Now that the Deluxe version does not have schedule C and E I will either need to file my son's return by hand or purchase another product going forward. Next year I will try another software available to complete both returns.
What's great about it: The program asks all the questions without having to look up the instructions
What's not so great: Deluxe version no longer includes the same modules as last year.

Changes made for 2014 are dangerous

I have warned everyone using TurboTax to watch out for it. I know tax preparation very well and was able to spot errors and correct them. But if you're trusting this year's TurboTax, don't. The best example was the Social Security Tax Worksheet. With a $16,000 income from SS and $23,000 of other income, the program came up with tax on S.S. for nearly $3000!!!! When I went over the worksheet line by line I saw a very serious mistake on which lines to subtract from each other. When I corrected that, SS tax was $0 which was clearly what it should be the according to the income figures above. There were other things, too, but I'll leave you with this for the horror show. I believe TurboTax should notify every buyer of this flaw.
What's great about it: there were a few things that made working with program a bit easier, BUT..
What's not so great: Incorrect filling out of forms despite accuracy of figures entered.

I buy software, and still get charged to file. Early in the process it said "you have one free file to file state." I still paid to file state. Need to state what fees will apply in the beginning, no surprises. I wouldnt be as upset right now if I knew what this was actually costing me. Might as well have had someone do it for me.
What's great about it: able to do it.
What's not so great: "fees" dont come until the end.

Turbo Tax won't let me file

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and this is the first time it has disappointed me. But if I can't get the program to work I won't be using it again. Especially since I have already paid for it.
What's not so great: on the filing page it keeps coming up with "This progrm cannot display the web page:

Turbo 2014 not working

Bought before 2014 twice and it worked good.,
Not this year.
Not this year.
Filled Federal, then after 3 days tried to check Status. Shows: you are not FILLED!!!
It's just frustrating.
