Super Tax Process

Turbo Tax has done it again. I am not super advanced in tax laws, but I know how to do taxes. Turbo Tax removes the hurdles and allows me to understand everything that I am doing.
What's great about it: Ease of use, very detailed

Easy Way to File

Generally, as a homeowner with a steady job and few tax filing complexities, using a tax s/w package is much easier.
What's great about it: Can do taxes myself
What's not so great: Relying on s/w rather than an actual tax professional

Great system, couldn't state file ?

Unsure why turbo tax was unable to access the system in order to pay using a credit card. Due to this I had to pay additional fees of $34.00. Not a huge deal but still inconvenient. Customer service was very helpful but also unable to solve the concerns.
What's great about it: Excellent processing and walk through of taxes
What's not so great: Unable to file State electronically had to pay extra fees
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I always use Turbo tax and will again... some things I do not like
- TT asks me to go look up things on previouse returns... TT should do that for me.. I have use TT for years and all the info still there
- my son did not have to do taxes last year but TT would not go back 2 years to get his info so I would not have to type it in
- changes in how TT works... tax season is stressful enough without haveing to figure out something new... if I want to figure out something new I might as well try H&R Block. ... little scary hope everything is submitted ok.!!!

My refund

When I tried to file by email. I was told I had to upgrade because some business forms could not be available. When I tried to do this, it required my ID and password. After submitting these, they would not work. I was then told to click on support. Nothing happened. I then simply removed the "offending" deductions so that the business form were no longer needed and then I was able to e-file. This cost me a few bucks and I do regret that, but my life had to continue.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Signing into my account was a hassel
