I had to save each page before going on to the next as I would constantly get windows 'send' 'don't send' errors and the software would shut down. Will use again next year but hope that problem isn't there.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Windows errors in 2014 version

Great Product

I've used TurboTax for several years and have not had a problem using or understanding the TurboTax Program. It seems to get a little easier each year I use it.
What's great about it: Excellent software and easy to use.

Major problem opening credit card payment window

After completing my returns for 2014 (including the state return) I repeatedly received the following notice "Your payment session has timed out" when trying to use a credit card for payment.
I was finally able to get this resolved after searching for possible solutions on the internet (not on turbo tax). I was only able to file after changing my internet options to explicitly allow "intuit.com".
I love the turbo-tax product, but I would have thought that this apparently common "bug" should have been resolved before you sent the product to market.
My past experience with turbo-tax has always been 5 STARS, and I have recommended the product consistently for nearly 15 years. This apparent "glitch" really surprises me.
What's great about it: Transferring previous years data saves me lots of time (Turbo-Tax is always quick and easy to use)
What's not so great: Being unable to open credit card payment window to pay for state return

Easy Peasy

Turbo Tax makes doing your taxes easy peasy. The "guide me" feature makes it impossible for anyone to miss out on any income or deductions. The e-file feature and process for follow up lets you - send it and forget it.
What's great about it: Transfering information from year to year
What's not so great: None

2014 tax Prep

Used this product for a number of years and was allways happy with the results.
Re coma use: I was in a rush to enter my amounts and came up with a large number. Perhaps an immediate edit would have saved me some time. It seems to me the program actually added zeroes to come up with a round number.

What's great about it: Easy data entry. Reload from previous year saves time.
What's not so great: Some scrolling requied on forms which should fit on screen. Entering amounts with coma instead of period causes errors.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used TurboTax since it was created. I love it, it makes doing taxes a breeze. Also, I have been using Quicken since 1990. That's it a long time.
What's great about it: Asks all of the right questions

So easy!

The software was easy to download and install. An easy hour or two making sure I had all the tax documents necessary and then walked through the questions easily. Highly recommend to everyone.
What's great about it: Prompted me through all the forms and downloaded all the complicated ones!
What's not so great: None
