absolutely horrible to select from a list the value of the donation. very small window unable to expand. very limited not like the old software. can barely discern what the object is in the list to select for household items. Calculating value on own is tedious the easy deduct method was simple but unable to complete in that fashion with the window opened

I like the way Turbox Tax keeps track of prior returns even reminding me of what I did last year. This saves me lots of time and instills greater confidence in accuracy when I complete my returns.
What's great about it: Still very easy and intuitive to navigate.

No nonsense tax return

No squawks, Turbo tax does everything I need and want.
What's great about it: Gave useful instructions to show how and where the data needed to go.
What's not so great: Didn't find the info telling what you need to make out next years Estimated Tax for Individuals. Did get IRS 2015 ES/V

Great software -- used it since 2003. I can't imagine actually having someone else file my taxes when I can do it myself and make sure its right. Thanks for the great product.
What's great about it: Comprehensive with detailed explanations easily available

Simple and Eazayy

I always use TurboTax to file my taxes because my mother used it. It's good for those who like to do things themselves, also helps me learn more about taxes. Also good for those who don't have time to talk to a tax prep.
What's great about it: I can do it myself in the comfort of my own home.
What's not so great: There isn't someone there physically to help.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Rip off!!

Turbo Tax used to be a real value. However, given the cost of the software, the amount of time it takes to complete the forms and then, the "gotcha" hidden filing fees, it's no longer a value. I won't be back.
What's great about it: File without going to tax consultant. Intuitive.
What's not so great: Charge you for the software, then charge expensive e-file fees. Not worth it.

I am not happy

In years past I was able to file for 1099-B with this software, but not this year. This upsets me and I will not be purchasing this software in the future.
