Fast and Easy to Use

Very easy to use the software once loaded. The software asks many questions to make sure all topics are covered. I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for many years without any issues.
What's great about it: Walked me thru all pertinent scenarios
What's not so great: Had trouble loading onto PC with Vista OS. Used laptop with Windows 8 instead.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Confusing and Awful

I was ready to efile - put in routing numbers, etc. and then provided my credit card number to pay taxes due and then after all that it says it can't efile. Now I am not sure if my taxes are paid or not? Why did I buy the 2013 edition if it doesn't completely work. Confusing to say the least. It would have been easier to go somewhere to get it done I think.
What's great about it: Did not have to do it on paper

turbo tax

have been using this for years & make out better than the tax preparation companies I have used in the past (Jackson Hewitt, H&R Block, & a private cpa). the program is very easy & quick & incredibly convenient. have no intention of using anything other than turbo tax. awesome!!!
What's great about it: easy & convenient
What's not so great: none i know of

An excellent product!

TurboTax made fast easy work of new difficult tax situations. There was no need to obtain forms and instructions. It avoided the need for help from my CPA. It saves its work nicely for future needs. I plan to use it again next year, and I recommend it highly with no reservations.
What's great about it: Easy to install, easy to do complicated taxes and easy to file electronically.
What's not so great: No problems were encountered.

So dependable. Been using Turbo Tax for years!

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and I haven't got a complaint. The cost is very reasonable and I have not had any issues with completing my taxes, transmitting my taxes, or getting my refund. It's been very efficient.
The program hasn't changed much since the first time I used it.
Sure there are other programs that might be cheaper or even free but Turbo Tax has been very dependable.
I am and will continue to be a loyal user.
What's great about it: Very intuitive, easy to use, asks the right questions, and error free.
What's not so great: Nothing I can thing of. It's almost like blind faith.

Very well put together. More user friendly than before. The only part I disliked was not finding out about the extra fee to pay the State filing by deducting from my return. It was no problem to change that to "bill my credit card" instead. It just would have been nicer to have a warning that "pay with my deduction" came with a fee and paying with a credit card didn't.
What's great about it: Much smoother this year
What's not so great: Should warn about fee for filing State return with the "deduct from my refund" sooner.

I could not get the watermark removed after making a correction that was a "$0" amount on California form. The watermark noted "Do Not File."
I have used TurboTax for nearly a decade now
What's great about it: Used for years
What's not so great: Analysis and watermark problems

So Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Even with a lot of different items each year, the process is made very easy. I have always felt I am getting my best refund.
What's great about it: I like how the process is as if you were talking to someone.
What's not so great: It's all good.
