No Muss - No Fuss

I've used TurboTax since 2009, and I've never run into a problem.
What's great about it: Fill in the blanks and you're good to go!
What's not so great: Charge for state e-File.

Why Pay Someone?

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, and will continue to use it in the future. I feel confident my taxes are correct and know I am getting the maximum refund possible,
What's great about it: The program takes you step, by step through your taxes. It even suggests other options to help maximize your refund.

Quick and Easy

For basic tax prep with itemized deductions, including filing Head of Household after a divorce, TurboTax is relatively easy and straightforward. I've used it for 7 years and it gets easier and faster each year. eFiling your Fed and State forms is simple, safe and convenient.
What's great about it: It's a "follow the bouncing ball" format that leads you through the preparation. Easy to review input and forms.
What's not so great: Ocassionally hit an area that doesn't make sense, and doesn't have good explanations available. This year was HSA.

I'VE BEEN USING TURBOTAX FOR MANY YEARS AND IT KEEPS GETTING EASIER. THERE ARE GOOD LINKS IF YOU NEED FURTHER INFORMATION TO RESEARCH.
What's great about it: STEP BY STEP AND GOOD LINKS FOR MORE INFORMATION
What's not so great: REVIEW ALWAYS CATCHES SOMETHING THAT I THINK SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHECKED WHEN THAT PART WAS ENTERED

Quick and Easy

I did my state and federal taxes in an afternoon. The software asks all the right questions to maximize your return. All calculations are done for you. All you need is your tax paperwork, software, and computer. Taxes are done quick and easy!

We ended up owing money but that's ok because the process to use TurboTax was very easy. We felt very confident the amount we owed was right.
