Beware of this product

I've used TurboTax for years and never had this problem before. The software crashed and lost my information every time I tried saving my encrypted return. Finally I tried saving without encryption and was able continue. I refused to save on the cloud because if my data isn't encrypted it isn't safe.
What's great about it: easy to read

Max Frustration

This year's Turbo Tax did not wrap around in each section like it usually does. It bounced back to the beginning; and, I felt like I had to start over a million times. It usually flows from one area to another. This was in doing my mother's simple tax return, where it argued with me in the end. I still have to do mine, which is more involved. I hope it is not as difficult. What happened to you guys?
What's great about it: I usually like Turbo Tax.
What's not so great: The program did not follow thru this year.

Even when you must pay..TT help ease the pain

Last year I took a break from using turbo tax, I went with the square guys, the experience was so memorable that this year I didn't hesitate to get my turboo tax.
I ended up paying but I know that there was no other deduction or credit available to me, I was finished filling my federal and state taxes in no time. you guys rock

Simple and Effective

Turbo Tax helped me effectively go through all my taxes in about 3 hours, and I was being quite methodical. I had contemplated doing my own taxes, but now I see that i would have missed some returns if I had. I'm glad I ended up using it.
The only con is that if you don't want to pay for multiple state filings, you have to print them out and mail them. Kind of annoying, but far from the end of the world.
Overall, it's an excellent product.
What's great about it: Simple, Straight Forward, and Clear
What's not so great: Not free for multiple state filings

TurboTax experience

I like it except that the program doesn't respond to key stroke short cuts. Pages don't scroll down. Had to continuously tab down after EVERY entry to get back to bottom of list on charitible deductions and on many phased areas where you want to get to the bottom and click for next step. Other than that i seem to do well and have done well with the program in previous years.
What's great about it: Easy procedure to follow and understand
What's not so great: Pages don't scroll. Very dificult to enter list and get through entering data.

I was trying to save some money with this program. I didn't!! it charge me the same amount as the private companies will and I did it my self. Not fear at all!! They didn't say nothing about the cost until you finish the app.
What's great about it: i like the simple process using this program
