Poor Upgrade Reason

I was again pleased with the performance of TT Basic version until I was forced to upgrade for a single 1099 MISC form entry. Seems very unnecessary for a simple form. I will purchase TT again next year, BASIC version ONLY. If asked to upgrade again it will be the last year I use TT.
What's great about it: Worked as expected again, easy and professionly
What's not so great: Forced to upgrade for 1 1099 MISC form

Turbo Tax seems to get better year by year!! I completed my returns so fast, I thought I had done something incorrectly. I'm thoroughly impressed with the yearly improvements. Thanks!

Easy process

Turbo Tax walked me through every step. If I would have ha any questions there were links to click with answers and help. The entire process took less than an hour and I received my refunds in a week.

Great software with a little glitch

I love Turbo Tax. I've used it very year for the last 5 years. I usually use the online version, but decided to actually buy the CD version this year. It was every bit as good as the online version. That is until I went to enter my charitable donations. I have always used It's Deductible and saw no reason to change that now. But once I had spent a great deal of time entering my donations and clicked "add items", I hit a problem. The CD version has a glitch, it won't add the items. It just shows a pop-up screen that list what you entered without anyway to confirm and move on. I was able to work around this by entering the values myself. While this was very aggravating, I was still impressed at the easiness of use of the software. I'm sure this problem will be corrected, so I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.
What's great about it: Very Easy to use
What's not so great: Glitch with "It's Deductible"

This is the fourth year my wife and I have used Turbo Tax and like every year prior we love using it. It eliminates the ridiculous tax questions and, when used from year to year, allows you to track your finances, giving and return totals. I truly don't have a negative thing to say about this program and we will continue to use it moving forward.
What's great about it: Simplicity for the tax dumb
What's not so great: Paying for state returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
