MAC OWNERS. Make sure you have the new operating system. My own fault for not reading the fine print. Make sure you do because they are not going to refund purchase price because of your own stupidity.
What's great about it: same easy system
What's not so great: did not expect that they had made mac changes and got screwed on a usless download on my mac . money out the window

Before turbo tax came into my life, I got frustrated and hated doing taxes to the point I didn't even want to file them it took me several days to do the taxes. I have been using the software since 1999 and never regretted it. The improvements every year get better, quicker and I am down to 1.5 hrs from the time I load it on till printing and filing.
THANKS TURBO TAX!!!!!!
What's great about it: couludn't do my taxes without turbo tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 Tax Returns

I was very disappointed that I could not mail my Illinois State forms. All copies that were available to me had "FORM NOT FINAL" printed across them. As a result I had to E-File them and pay for it. When you gave me the option to do either, I felt the least you could do was allow me to mail it myself. Not so.
What's great about it: The Federal part had no problems.
What's not so great: I tried to print off and file my State return, but I could not get a copy printed off that didn't have "FORM NOT FINAL"

A no brainer

I find it difficult to understand why most people are afraid to do their own taxes, when a program such as TurboTax is available to walk them through the steps.
Can't say enough about the ease of doing taxes using the program.

Easy experience. If you have a home based business you HAVE TO buy the business program. This is a big change from year's past.
