Keep it simple s . . .

Things that worked well last year have been changed. Things that didn't work well still aren't working. The program gets more complex every year. Try and keep it simple!
What's great about it: It's still better than manually filling out the IRS forms.

wont file electronically

very disappointed that I have to print my return to mail my return instead of filing electronically. No problem previously but this time might not use turbo tax again.

What's not so great: Too many versions of turbo tax - past years there were two...

Super Easy Refund

This is my 8th year of using intuit turbo tax. I feel I have always received the best refund possible through using them. Super easy. Make sure you go through each item and check the explanation. You might find something you can deduct that you did not know you could.
What's great about it: The program takes you through step by step
What's not so great: There were none

Taxes for Dummies

I have always use Turbo Tax & for the most part it is simple to use. I do feel like the step-by-step walk through helps me not miss any deductions. My one peeve with this program is that if I want to go back to make a change, I can't always find it with ease.
I like the fact that I can get part of my refund in an Amazon gift card, but I also wanted to purchase I bonds. It was not possible to do both.

What's great about it: Mostly easy to use with step-by-step directions
What's not so great: Can't always get back to the proper section (question) to make changes.

Very Satisfied ..... even a little shocked

Our first time using tax software. Have always used a tax professional (not a seasonal service). We switched this year because I lost my job last year and we had to make some not very popular decision with our investments to maintain our home and livelihood. I *really* didn't want to sit through another lecture from my CPA. And I'm very glad I did. This is my new 'goto' for future taxes. Great.....A+
What's great about it: Very Intuitive. Flow was really great from finding online, thru purchasing, and then prepping and filing my taxes.
What's not so great: none.......... really, there were none
