Could not do my State Taxes no matter how hard I tried. I've been using Turbo Tax for years but it was so frustrating not being able to get Sate Taxes done not sure I'll use it next year.

I read reviews of this year updates and changes, but for me a somewhat simple return, I used deluxe home and deductions, everything went smooth
What's great about it: helpful, the same, peace of mind
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

COULD NOT E-FILE

The deduction for child/dependent care did not function properly. We did not want to use this deduction as we did not have a child care expense. The program would not allow us to say that we had no deduction for this and repeatedly asked us to list the provider info. There was no provider but the program would not allow us to say that. This repeatedly showed up as an error to fix and the program eventually prevented us from e-filing because of this "error". We have used TurboTax for years; this is the first trouble that we have ever had using the program.
What's great about it: very easy to use with simple instructions to follow
What's not so great: unable to e-file due to a program glitch

Fast and easy

Went smoothly, main suggestion is to make it clearer to user needs to add last years refund from state.

What's not so great: Should reminder clearer about adding state refund to income

2014 tax prep

As always intuit made fileing taxes easy. I recomend that you make it CLEARER that when you Start the State portion of the Program that you must DOWNLOAD the free state program that comes with ther Dewlux version. Even beter would be to have it AUTOMATICALLY download as in years past. In over ten years this was the first year I had to call to get assistance that doesn't bode well for the future.
What's great about it: as easy as ever
What's not so great: seperate state download not very user freindly

I have used their product for years, at least 10...and I have never had a problem. The fact that it rolls my info over every year is awesome and shortens my time spent doing the taxes. It covers all aspects of my life events to my satisfaction and will continue to be my go to product for taxes in the future.
What's great about it: Speed and accuracy on completing the taxes, and getting the refund.
What's not so great: Sorry, no cons from me.
