First time user

This was the first time I had to do my own taxes. My husband, now deceased, always did our taxes. He generally used Turbo Tax..Last year I used a tax accountant because taxes were very complicated. It was easy to follow the process with Turbo Tax. Sometimes, explanations were confusing for someone who knew nothing about the process. When I would get confused or overwhelmed, I would ask friends. They said what Turbo tax did was correct. I'm still overwhelmed and hope everything goes well when I push the file button. Thanks for making this relatively easy for me. {This survey was more Difficult to manage than the taxes. It kept shutting down.}
What's great about it: Generally easy to follow
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing explanations

Turbo Tax

What's not so great: Having trouble trying to get the electronic pin.

Easy to Use

I like Turbo Tax, but do not appreciate updates and changes after the purchase. Surely the tax laws are stated by the end of the tax year!
What's great about it: Helpful
What's not so great: Updates after purchase
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is a great and thorough tool. You won't miss anything using this. I have used it for years and it takes the fear out of doing your taxes. It explains everything clearly. Makes a daunting task easy!

New Change - Free Upgrade

I have used Turbo Tax for years because it is thorough yet simple to use. The only issue I had is that changes were made this year that were not made clear until after you started using it. The positive is that you did allow a free upgrade.
