Simple and accurate

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1994 and wouldn't think of using anything else. It is accurate, easy to use, and since it knows my past information, makes everything consistent.
What's great about it: Walks me though every step, remembers last year

been using TT for the past 7 years. easily navigate-able, user friendly and gives me peace of mind I am inputting my information correctly and in the appropriate sections.
What's great about it: user friendly, allows for self directed inputting, help accessible

Help for RMD candidates

For us seniors past the 70 1/2 age, it would have been helpful if it was explained in the instructions that Pensions (1099-R) were to be categorized as RMD payments. It was necessary for me to access the FAQ section to determine how to enter Pension data.

Donations

Before I used TurboTax, I was able to estimate donations of clothing or household items by using a photo of the items.
This is ridiculous and not worth my time to itemize each and every one (or is that the intent of the gov.?) There must be an easier way.

No matter what situation you have turbo tax has a solution. I would never use anything else or pay someone to do my taxes.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is quick and easy to use, walks you through everything step by step.
What's not so great: I hate having to wait on all my tax info to arrive by mail

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years now and have found it to be very reliable. I like that they give you 2 options to do your taxes you can fill them out your self or they will walk you thru it.I like for them to take me thru it . that way I know I didn't miss anything. They also check for alerts and make sure everything is right
What's great about it: Fastest way to file your taxes, Makes sre to find the money dependable
What's not so great: Nothing
