Yeah! My Taxes are done!

Overall, I love TurboTax. I have been using it to do my taxes for years, so it remembered all my personal data and transferred my current W-2 and last years tax return, so I just needed to answer a few questions in each section. I did have a problem with the software miscalculating my return in the HRA medical expenses section, but I called the help number and they were very nice and helpful and when she stepped me though the questions again it corrected itself. I was very unhappy with the fact that they took a lot of forms off the Turbo Tax Deluxe this year, but my situation changed and I fortunately did not need those forms anymore. I was happy to hear that they are going to put those forms back next year and reimburse everyone that had to buy another version at a higher cost. They are proving their integrity and commitment to their customers by their recent actions to correct their unpopular changes. I just completed my filing and it didn't take me long at all. I was also upset that my refunds were much lower this year, but that has nothing to do with Turbo Tax, it was due to tax law changes in the Federal and in my State. I would recommend using Turbo Tax to anyone and if you have any problems their costumer service department is very helpful. At least they were in my case. Happy filing!
What's great about it: Quick and Very easy program to use. Transferred my W-2 and all my personal data from last year.
What's not so great: Had a problem with the software miscalculating the HRA section & was hard to find the right question to correct errors.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This year'sTurbotax Can't Operate on an Old System

Your system requirements to run Turbotax forced other requirements on my ventage Imac computer. Turbotax required Mac operating system 10.7. My computer was using system 10.6.8. System 10.7 in return required more RAM. The memory and operating system cost almost twice as much as the Turbotax. Otherwise, Turbotax was simple to use.
What's great about it: Simple to use
What's not so great: Software System requirements to costly

Love TurboTax

I've been a TurboTax faithful user for a long time. This makes it even easier to complete my return. Walks through each step with detailed instructions and provides more information when you click on the link. Easypeasy! I recommend this for an E-Z filer, a family, a small business owner because it is not complicated at all.
What's great about it: Easy to understand
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It makes it easier to get my taxes done. It has all the updates. It explains things in terms that is easy to understand

2014 Turbo Tax Software

Program is great as usual. Did notice on printing forms to file NC state taxes, my phone number was on the spouse signature line instead of the line designated for it.

Getting my taxes done!

I think the whole process took too long. I was not happy in having to pay for state forms and filing. I did like the fact that I could send my federal forms for free. The instructions were easy to follow. I did have problems with the Medical Saving Account section because I had a Flex Spending Account. I would rate the overall process easier than manually doing my taxes, but too expensive.

Easy to use and very precise. My only difficulty was during reviews of the completed forms, it spotted a couple of places where I had entered zeros where none was needed. It took me a couple of tries to figure out I should remove the zeros. Otherwise, I had no problems and finished my returns in about three hours (most of which was spent tabulating my deduction expenses).
Great product. I've been using it for five years now, and plan to continue using it.
What's great about it: Precise andto the point.
What's not so great: During reviews, needed better guidance to remove a couple of 0's. Otherwise, very simple to use.
