BEST tax refund tool on the market

I like turbo tax because I think it comes for a very fair rate. In addition it offers a safe piece-of-mind like feeling with the reviews, double checks, and display of your credits/dollars.
I preach to all, that TURBO TAX is the safest most affordable way to not only succesfully file your taxes... BUT BECOME SCHOOLED AND INFORMED/EDUCATED about your taxes and its entire process.
You make money while you learn.
What's great about it: I enjoyed the explanations, thoroughness, and "user friendly setup"
What's not so great: if anything, super easy direct comparison to LAST years numbers

Another successful Tax filing

I've used Turbo Tax since 2000 and have had no problems doing them myself. The program is quite user friendly and is very easy to follow all the questions and directions. Just have all your W2;s,1099's, donation and medical information available and it is a breeze to fill out and file.
What's great about it: Easy to use and follow the instructions
What's not so great: None I can think of.

Wow! So Easy! So fast!

Not Quite As Easy As It Use To Be

I always step through my entries a second time after entering all the info on the federal portion. This year, when I stepped through, some of the information I entered was not displayed. Instead the original screen was shown. The primary area was when there is a list where you must select information about the retirement income just entered. I had to figure out again which item should be selected, so it really wasn't a review, but a re-entry of the information. Also, I'm not clear why you don't save this type of information from year to year - it won't change. You save the information about who is distributing the pension funds, but not the type of pension - general method, three-year, etc. I have to review the options in detail to figure out which I should check, again.
What's great about it: Still the best way to do your taxes.
What's not so great: Review not as easy!
